CSH-Nepal Programs
In order to tailor the needs of such children, CSH-Nepal has envisioned undertaking its three structured and well defined programs. They are:
- Safe house Program.
- Community out-reach Program
- Advocacy Program.
1. 'Safe house Program'
CSH Nepal intends to run a 'safe house program' for the children at risk, abandoned, homeless, orphan and children with disabilities. The idea is to place these children is a safe house where they could reside in a homely environment and benefit from health, education and other skills that could assist them to grow up as potential citizen.2. 'Community out-reach Program'
CSH Nepal through its 'community out-reach program' intends to help and assist children deprived of basic education and health facilities in their 'natural family settings'. CSH Nepal 'community out-reach program' intends to improve the lives of marginalized children who are deprived of primary/secondary education and other basic health facilities. In the latter stage CSH-Nepal intends to support and built a local school and health post to support the needy children residing in the local community.3.'Advocacy Program'
CSH Nepal through its 'advocacy program' intends to work with the child's family, neighborhood, school, teachers, local clubs, local governmental representatives, and health professionals at the local level. Similarly it also intends to lobby and advocate for national protection mechanisms for the children with all concerned governmental, non governmental and international organization.It also aims to conduct survey, training, research, seminar, workshops,capacity building and publications of news letter and lobby for implementation of national mechanisms in favor of the needy children in Nepal.Please Note that all these programs are in preparatory phase of initiation.
